I have trained with Mei for over 5 years. Her passion to help her clients is awesome. On most days my lower back pain is gone. My feet and ankles are much stronger as proper body movements starts from the ground up. My neck and shoulders feel much better as well. Mei has given me the tools to understand proper body awareness and movement with her outstanding knowledge of Pilates and Franklin Method. Mei never stops learning herself with continuing education workshops around the country. Almost every session I learn a new exercise, which I love. She has an uncanny ability to see where corrections are needed in my body movement and give me the necessary clues so I can incorporate it outside of class throughout my day. I am a professional dancer as well as a teacher, and I have worked with Mei since 2017. I started working with her to develop body awareness and control. Mei has not only helped me achieve my goals, but also has helped me recover from injuries and prevent other injuries from occurring. I have learned exercises to relieve tension and take care of my body before, during, and after rehearsal. We also break down movement that I often do to make sure I am doing as healthily as my body can. I used to be very tightly bound and my movement was short and rigid. With Mei's help I have developed a more full range in motion because we have worked on how to activate muscle groups without over gripping them. Her class has also influenced my teaching. I can now go deeper into teaching students how to make movement feel best in their body.
